Hey fellow deviants,
I haven't written much in here lately, and so much has happened in the past few weeks. I have decided to pursue art as a career - architecture! I'm applying to Dal, McGill, Carleton and Waterloo - hopefully one of them will accept me! I've been stressing over creating my portfolio for the applications, hopefully it will be finished up this weekend. You may have noticed a bit more abstract/colourful work from me, I've really started exploring different styles and ideas. Usually I just sketched out my crazy ideas in a sketchbook and left it there, now I'm trying to bring more of these ideas to 'real' works of art. I'll try

So, I haven't done much art lately. Back to school and its eating up plenty of time already. Ugh.
I did just finish my 'Liberty Falling' picture. Its not an anti-American work, its merely showing my displeasure with what America has become. Indeed the system is failing. The education system is falling apart, the infrastructure is crumbling, politicians are busy pointing fingers. Racism is rampant. Hatred is everywhere. The middle class is under attack. The banks are cathedrals. Fear is in control. I love America, but every day it seems to slip farther away from what America truly is...
